Hey! And welcome to Start Yours – a podcast from Oberlo about what it’s like to start a business.

My name is David Vranicar, and in Season 1 of Start Yours we’re going to dork out about all things ecommerce, dropshipping, and entrepreneurship with an awesome roster of guests.

We’ll talk to a surfer bum-turned-business owner. A couple that got married on their way to seven figures. A serial dropshipper from Israel. And a pair of friends from Utah who run their side hustle in between full-time jobs and taking care of the kids.

These entrepreneurs have gone through the headaches and triumphs of running an online store, and they’re going to explain – actually, I’ll let them do the honors:

→ I always say that with viral dropshipping, you can get rich overnight. But with building a brand, you can get rich forever.

→ You need to always be on top of your emotions. You know, you fail, you come back again, you try again. This is this business.

→ I hadn’t done anything to anyone, you know. Everyone was still in college, doing their thing, and I was still considered just this kid who had big dreams that wasn’t going to college and no one believed that I could really do it.

→ I think we’re both very much about the hustle.

→ I faced so many obstacles where I’ve said, “This is over, this is not for me, maybe I’m a musician, maybe I’m someone who should be reading books or something.”

→ I would really try to find a niche that’s already been proven to really buy stuff… It’s hard to target a niche of minimalists.

→ It just goes to show that no matter your lifestyle or home life or whatever, it’s a viable option for so many people.

→ What most people – what they want to know is that I’m driving a huge car, expensive, bought an amazing house. But in reality, it’s all BS.

There’s plenty more where that came from, and we’re going to start releasing episodes on Tuesday, October 22. You can find Start Yours wherever you listen to podcasts, and if you subscribe now, each episode will appear in your podcast feed as soon as it drops.

We’ll talk to you soon!
