As of March 2023, the list of the most popular mobile apps for iPhones on the iOS app store was topped by Temu, an online marketplace owned and operated by Chinese ecommerce giant Pinduoduo. Even though the app was launched only recently in September 2022, it has shot to the top of the rankings, which experts attribute to its low prices. SHEIN, a fashion shopping app, follows in second place.
Ecommerce giant Amazon’s shopping app comes next in third place on the list of the best shopping apps, while retail giant Walmart and sports brand Nike’s apps make up the five most popular shopping apps.

Best Shopping Apps on Google Play in 2023

The list of the top shopping apps on the Android operating system looks slightly different. While the top few players are mostly the same, the most significant difference is their order.
Like the iOS list, Temu tops the list of best shopping apps on Google Play. This is followed by SHEIN, AliExpress, and Amazon Shopping.
