    20 days delivery on E-packet ???? I did not see one product on ALiExpress with that shipping time 0_o

    is it only for the US then ?

    and can someone tell me .. Majority of the products have there sales timings.. would the prices really change after the sale time is over?

    ePacket is not just for the US, as mentioned in the article there a quite a few countries it applies to. If you couldn’t see it on a product you may need to try a different product (not all suppliers offer it) or, most likely, just change the selection from normal shipping to ePacket before adding the item to your cart.
    Also, I bought something with ePacket shipping a couple of weeks ago. Stated delivery time was 13-20 days and I received it to regional Australia in 5 business days. I was very impressed as there is no way Australia Post could manage to do it that quickly.

  • I love using drop ship -my big concern is always the shipping cost and time it takes. Ordering sample products to test the vendor you are using is crucial – I have had to eliminate a few because of lengthy delays in getting the products delivered.

    What would be really great is a resource for finding manufacturers or distributors that drop ship in the US/Canada/UK/Australia etc. There are directories available but the cost is over the top. Surely there must be a place to find these.

    Mate, Australian post must have done its part for you to receive it in that time frame. Shipping out of China is what slows down everything. Trust me, I know that much.

    Hi Everybody, I have just launched a women’s Fashion store stocked from Ali Express and ordered 2 tops as a test for quality and delivery and it is a nightmare. One top took 20 days the other I am still waiting for after 6 weeks. Quality was not that good, not only that but Chinese sizes do not fit western women and you have to adjust size and the customer has to accurately measure before ordering. My daughter tried one of the tops and it would not go over the shoulder although ordered to UK size and the design was poor. You cannot run an online store like this therefore I am looking for European clothing manufacturers but found none to date that would drop-ship. My experience says do not use Ali Express for women’s clothing unless anyone can give me a solution.

    I read an article in one of the Sunday papers about why Amazon, Ebay and other large online stores are not worried by Ali Express(Ali Baba) prices and will remain profitable as the delivery time from China at minimum 20-40 days is not acceptable by most people in the West, of course these large stores have inventory and stock.

    I was planning to create a storefront and dropship bicycle parts and apparell, until I realized almost all of the apparell was counterfit and did not match the description. Apparently this is a problem with any athletic jersey sold on Ali. Obviously operating a business where the product is sight unseen (i cannot possibly buy a sample of every item I planned on offering to check the quality- and this is a huge problem. If the supplier is offering an item and stating it is manufactured under/for a brand and you are trying to sell those items to customers, and they are not authentic, that’s a HUGE problem.
